09Jun09 Bago in Myanmar

I came to Myanmar!! Uh,, I felt atmosphere is similar to Philippines. But here is not dangerous like Philippines.

Anyway, I went to Bago first day.
In Bago, there are many barkers,,,,It was very annoy,,,, and so noisy by horn.
I couldn't relax in there.

After arrive at BagoI joined a city tour.

"Shwethalyaung Buddha"

The Buddha's sole was beautiful by many mosaic.

It's like Philippines,,,
There are fried insect,,,,disgusting,,,, But it was popular with Myanmar people.

After tour, we went to a Myanmar restaurant.
Myanmar food were sooo oily,,,,, I miss Japanese food, now....

This is Myanmar style corkscrew. I think it is cool!!! I wanna try in Japan:)

There is information in my guide book, Myanmar beer is one of famous beer in the world. It took the crown sometime in beer competition. It was little bit bitter for me, I prefer more light taste:)
